Accounting Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Code invoices and distribute for approval by project management
- Enter invoices into accounting system daily
- Manage Accounts Payable email & Contract Documents email daily
- Create & Enter all change orders into accounting system
- Add subcontracts into accounting system
- Verify that statements align with all invoices in our accounting system
- Manage subcontractor agreements including tracking and confirming they are signed and returned to the company and filed accordingly
- Coordinate with project management on subcontract agreement modifications and ensure they are fully signed & executed prior to construction
- Obtain all COIs and W9s from subcontractors and suppliers
- Internally file all signed owner change orders and subcontractor change orders
- Tracking, mailing and confirming all change orders are signed and returned to the company and filed accordingly
Qualifications:
- Background in Accounting, Finance, or a Administrative related field is preferred
- Proven experience in financial accounting
- Experience with accounts receivable management and technical accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite (excel, outlook, word)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
